Figure 21.5 shows the results for the Netanya super zone, the northern outskirts
of the TAMA. A decrease may be seen in all three variables as parking cost
increases; compared to the Tel-Aviv CBD super zone (Fig. 21.4 ), however, the
decrease in VKT is less significant while the decrease in VHT is more pronounced.
It may be recalled that the effect of increasing parking fees (mainly in the
Tel-Aviv CBD super zone) is modeled by applying the demand elasticity
(Eq. 21.1 ) to every destination zone in the metropolitan area. There are many
