mesh circle to a scene, you can change the number of vertices that make up the circle, as well as its radius,
by using the controls that appear in the panel.
On the right of the 3D view is the Properties panel . It is toggled with the N key, which you should
also memorize. This panel displays transform information (rotation, position, scaling) for selected objects,
as well as options for the Grease Pencil (a note-taking tool) and certain items specific to what is drawn in
the view itself. This Properties panel is also found in other workspace-oriented window types like the
Graph Editor, and is a way to quickly view data about selected objects throughout Blender.
Outliner
In the upper right corner of the default screen is an Outliner view, which has been expanded in Figure
2.8 . The Outliner is an all-in-one representation of the structure of your scene. All of your objects, materi-
als, animation data, and scene settings can be browsed here. This information can be sorted and filtered in
