In-Depth Information
But Archie shakes his head and whispers to Flynn. “They're not ordinary pirates. They are
sent from the Pirate King himself. I'd bet my remaining tail feathers on it.”
The ship looms closer and some of the crew cry out in fear as they realize the pirate crew is all
skeletons. The captain shouts frantic orders, trying to keep his crew calm and to get away from
the other ship, but it is too late. Heavy grappling hooks thud into the wood as the crew, frozen
with fear, looks on. Flynn is stunned himself, but the parrot stirs him into action.
“Get aloft again, boy. We stand a better chance up there. Keep moving and see if you can get
to the other ship. If we can hide on their ship, they'll take us straight to the Pirate King with any
luck.”

Flynn jumps for his life and gains some height in the masts. Below him the battle rages on. If he
talks to any crew member, they urge him to get out of the way and stay out of trouble. At one
point where he looks stuck, the parrot will tell him how to climb to the other ship. Flynn has a
new move and needs to use it a good few times to get near the crow's nest on the pirate ship.
Birds are snapping at him from above, so it's safest to keep moving. He can duck the birds.
Cut Scene: Introduce Boss in Crow's Nest
The parrot has steered Flynn towards the crow's nest throughout, but as they reach it, the
skeletons are closing in and surround the boy. Then a horrible laugh rings out and from high
above, a skeleton, much larger than the others, thumps down onto the platform. “Hah! What's
this, me hearties? A measly little boy who hasn't even got his sea legs yet? Is HE giving you
trouble? Get out of my way. I will handle this.”
Boss Fight
This skeleton seems to have more limbs than are good for him. In fact, he climbs the netting like a
six-legged spider. Using the new climb ability, Flynn must unhook his limbs one by one till the
pirate finally falls into the sea. The skeleton moves between three different positions-all of which
he can reach by climbing vertically. The pirate hurls wooden pegs at Flynn, knocking him
backward and off the platforms if he is not careful.
Cut Scene: Arrival at Rogues' Rendezvous
With the lookout out of the way, Flynn hides in the crow's nest. The battle that had been going on
so fiercely down below suddenly stops; the skeletons withdraw and leave the other ship. Baffled,
the captain looks his crew over. Is everyone alright? Where's Flynn?” The sailors look at each
other, but shake their heads sadly. No one knows.
