comfortable. The food here is tasty, and there's beer and fresh coffee (T5500). Has spa-
ghetti bolognese and chicken dishes as well as Mongolian food. English menu.

distant mountains, this 7th-floor restaurant and bar is undeniably attractive. Portions are
small for the price, but the food is tasty and well presented. There are plenty of Mongoli-
an options, plus pizza and pasta, but there's no English menu, so you may have to mime
your way through ordering. Beer from T2000.

Bathhouse (shower T2000; summer 8am-11pm, winter 9am-10pm) In a green building on
your right as you walk away from the centre.
Internet Cafe (per hr T600; 8am-11pm) In the Telecom office.
Khan Bank ( 9am-6pm Mon-Fri, to 4pm Sat) Changes cash and has a foreign-friendly
ATM. On the same side of the road as the Telecom office. Also has an ATM in the lobby
of Dalanzadgad Hotel.
Getting There & Away
AIR
The airport is 5km north of town, along a paved road. Taxis cost about T10,000 one way.
EZ Nis ( 7005 2969; www.eznisairways.com ; 9am-6pm) Daily flights to Ulaanbaatar
(T180,000 to T250,000). English spoken. You can pay with a Visa card.
Hunnu Air ( 9400 0647; www.hunnuair.com ; 3rd fl, above Golomt Bank; 9am-5pm) Flies to
UB every day in summer, and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in winter. One way
from T135,000. Not much English spoken.
BUS
A twice-daily bus travels between Dalanzadgad and Ulaanbaatar (T28,000, 12 hours,
553km), departing at around 8am and 4pm via Mandalgov (T13,600, seven hours).
