2.9. The Church of our Lady
Another iconic religious building in the heart of Bruges is The Church of our Lady.
Dating back to the 13th century, the church has been refurbished many times and many parts
of the church are also dated to the 14th and 15th centuries. What really sets this church apart
from the multitude of other religious buildings in the city is the height of the church tower,
which at 122.3 metres (401ft) in height is the tallest structure in all of Bruges and it can be
located from virtually anywhere you happen to be in the city
