lipopolyamines displayed high level of transfection, the “linear” RPR-
120535 showed the highest level of luciferase expression, followed
by the “branched” RPR-120525 and “« T » shaped” RPR-126096,
and finally the “globular” lipopolyamine RPR-120528.
The obtained lipopolyamines were assayed
in vitro

In agreement with previous works [26], the geometry of
the cationic entity affects the transfection efficiency of the self-
assemblies with DNA.
The introduction of a variety of linkers between the lipid and
the polyamine did not affect substantially the transfection efficiency
