Different blur effects can be achieved using different filter types that can be chosen
as per the requirement. The following is a list of the types of filter, followed by a
screenshot illustrating the blur types:

Flat
: This shows everything as uniformly blurred
•
Tent
: This performs a linear falloff by preserving the high and the lows better
•
Quadratic
and
Catrom
: These makes the sharp-contrast edges crisp
•
Cubic
and
Mitch
: These preserve the highs but give an almost out-of-focus
blur while softening sharp edges
