Alongside the train tracks and inside an old wooden building blackened by the
years, this
izakaya
(Japanese version of a pub/eatery) has enough ambience that
it needn't worry about the food. Fortunately, it does: filling, home-style dishes, a
mix of Japanese and Western, are served family-style, piled high in bowls on the
counter - just point to what you want.
