With its sleek contemporary design, this restaurant and bar, popular with expats,
could be anywhere - save for the sweeping view towards the Shinjuku skyline
from the terrace. Expect a crowd dressed like they don't care that wine by the glass
starts at ¥1400. You can eat here too, but the real scene is at night by the bar.

Come here to sample over a dozen different beers on tap from respected local craft
brewer Baird's Brewery. That this bar, off teeny-bopper Takeshita-dōri, is crowded
nightly with grown-ups is testament to Baird's popularity. Take a left after Cafe
Solare; the bar is at the end of the lane on the right.
