In-Depth Information
This tiny, sparkly gem of a cocktail lounge hosts both DJ and live-music events.
It's an appealing spot for older kids hanging out in Shibuya and draws a laid-back
international crowd. Some weekday events are free. ( 3780-3022;

Local Life
Nonbei-yokochō
A narrow nightlife strip along the JR tracks, Nonbei-yokochō is a collection of old
wooden buildings that predates pretty much everything else in Shibuya. It's worthwhile
just to stroll through. If you fancy a drink, check out teeny-tiny Tight ( OFFLINE MAP ;

midnight Sun; JR Yamanote Line to Shibuya, Hachikō exit) - named for the tight fit around the
bar. It has a big picture window in front.

This venue feels like a concert hall, but it's actually more along the lines of a slick
club. Though there's no explicit musical focus, emphasis is on rock and roll and
world music, and the quality is generally high. Expect a more varied, artsy crowd
than the club's location - near Sentā-gai in Shibuya - might lead you to expect. (
