damage. The ENFO project provides systematic information on the legal back-
ground, environmental monitoring, risk and life cycle assessment, risk reduction
methods and technologies;

- The ENFO knowledge base is online writable; after registration, one can post

methods and technologies into the ENFO database. The contents are reviewed
and published by responsible experts of the relevant topic;

- Input data verification is performed in the following steps: registration by email

address; filling out the datasheet, photo album, e-course as instructed; automatic
control of the completion of the templates; and, finally, experts control the quality
of the content and validate the references;

- Other information inputs such as the contents of the glossary or elements of the

scientific network are restricted to selected users;
