2. Select the leftmost edge of the plane and move it
1 unit
in the posiive direcion
of the
X Axis
, this way it will be posiioned right on the line showing the
Y Axis
(the green line).

Next, go to the
Modifiers
tab in the
Properties Editor
and add a
Mirror
modifier
to the object; make sure to enable the
Clipping
opion for the
Mirror Modifier.

With the basic setup in place, it's ime to start working on construcing the basic shape.
For that let's take a look at the first three stages of the modeling. These will help us to
understand the process beter, as you can see in the next screenshot:
The previous screenshot shows muliple meshes together in a single image. In the 3D
Viewport you should be working on a single mesh that is symmetrical on the
Y Axis
