The Walk
From the Caesars to Mussolini, Milan's strategic position has made for a fascinat-
ing history. Mercantile Milan invented the idea of the city-state and the Edict of Mil-
an (AD 313) ended the persecution of Christians. From Roman origins to Repub-
lican ambitions and industrial pretensions, this walk takes you through Milan's
most tumultuous events.

Finish Piazza Sempione; metro Moscova
