A final full backup
Once you have finished the post-processing steps, you need to complete one final full data-
base backup in the SAP BW on HANA system before moving to the post-processing tasks
in
Section 6.2
.
Once you have completed a full backup of the HANA database, it will be
time to restart your SAP system. This is your last chance to get a snapshot of the system in
its pristine, «ready for primetime” state, so do not skip this step. A review of some import-
ant information about the HANA database backup can be found in
Section 6.1.23
. Once
you have taken a backup of the system after the DMO process has completed, you need to
restart the SAP system.
