Creating Unicode nametabs
Nametabs
are tables in SAP databases that include the technical definitions of dictionary
objects, such as tables, structures, data elements, domains, etc. Nametabs are used by the
ABAP interpreter while executing ABAP programs, so they are required for an SAP sys-
tem to run. Since a Unicode system cannot use the nametabs from a non-Unicode imple-
mentation, you must create Unicode nametabs before completing the Unicode conversion.

To create the Unicode nametabs using transaction code SPUMG, click
