related biocirculation, toxicological effect, and pharmacokinetics should be
further studied and properties should be optimized. Once these are better under-
stood, more advanced IOMNPs will be designed and synthesized for clinical
multimodality imaging, and the much expected early diagnosis will then be
realized.
