Applying Distort & Transform Effects
The Illustrator Distort & Transform effects allow you to apply different types of distortion
and transformation effects. You can apply a wide variety of effects, including Free Distort,
Pucker & bloat, roughen, Transform, Tweak, Twist, and Zig Zag. Each effect provides dif-
ferent options to create the results you want. As you make changes, you can preview the
results in your document (in most cases). You can apply the warp effects to images and
editable text.
Apply a Distort & Transform Effect
Select the
Layers
panel, and then select the target circle for a layer, sublayer,
group, or object.
Click the
Effect
menu, point to
Distort & Transform
, and then select a com-
mand.
