CONCLUSION
With less than 10 years history, several 10-research studies have been created in CS
biocomposites reinforcement using CNTs. In conclusion, much progress has been
made in preparation and characterization of the CNTs/CS nanocomposites. We report-
ed several methods for preparing these nano-biocomposites. In addition, the CNTs/CS
applications have been classified including biomedicine (tissue engineering, biosen-
sors, and drug delivery) and wastewater in this review.
Most importantly, the overriding results of electrospinning of CNTs/CS nano-
composites in our recent paper have been discussed. It is expected a high potential
application in tissue engineering and drug delivery by these nano-biocomposites. It
is believed that, with more attentions to the preparation methods of CNTs/CS nano-
composites and their characterization have a promising future in biomedicine science.
