Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML)—which is also supported by
SPSS. Streams provides the power to run both predictive models on a mas-
sive scale and scope in real time. Almost the entire IBM Big Data platform
is integrated with PMML. For example, you can build models in SPSS and
then run them within IBM PureData System for Analytics appliance to per-
form deep analytics with very fast performance.
SAS
SAS business analytics applications are integrated with the IBM Big Data
platform. In particular, SAS is integrated with the IBM PureData System for
Analytics. This integration allows SAS scoring and modelling to be run inside
this PureData System, which is more efficient in terms of bringing analytics to
the data, and of course it also benefits from the tremendous advantages an
analytics-based PureData System provides for deep analytic queries on large
data sets.
Unica
Unica is an advanced solution for cross-channel campaign management and
marketing performance optimization. It's fully integrated with both the IBM
PureData System for Operational Analytics and the IBM PureData System
for Analytics, and can be used to perform campaign analytics and reporting
on these platforms. The benefits that IBM PureData Systems bring are clear—

“How can existing securities solutions be extended with Big Data technolo-

In 2011, IBM acquired Q1 Labs and their QRadar Security Intelligence
Platform (QRadar), which provides a unified architecture for collecting, stor-
