modern, stylish hotel near the Kahului airport ( Click here ) . At this four-story property,
which opened in 2012, guests whisk into a sleek lobby area, best described as Aloha
Modern. The breezy bistro, complete with media booths, serves breakfast, dinner and ap-

ger than average, with crisp white bedding, large windows and deep brown accents - a
hint of solemnity for the business traveler?
The property is not on the beach, but the pool and nearby fire pit are nice places to re-
lax. Parking is $10 per day.
MAUI FOOD TRUCKS
The food truck phenomenon has finally made its way to Maui. From Lahaina to the
Upcountry, these four-wheeled eateries are serving a global array of tastygrinds.
Most meals are $12 or less. Bring cash. These are a few of our favorites:
Kahului
» Geste Shrimp ( Click here ) Savor 12 plump and juicy shrimp with crab mac and
rice on the side. It's a top island choice.
» Gogi Korean Taco Truck ( www.eatgogi.com ) Nosh on tacos and bibim burritos.
