At this place, plate lunch specialties take a gourmet turn. But the appeal is not
immediately apparent: the place is tiny, prices are high and the choices seem weird (kung
pao chicken
and
spaghetti with meatballs?). Then you nibble the piping-hot Mongolian
beef. Hmm. Chomp chomp. That's pretty interesting. Gulp gulp. Mmm, spicy.
And then...the whole darn container is empty. Cash only.

With a menu as eclectic
as its decor, this arty cafe never disappoints. Breakfast packs 'em in with everything
from pancakes to frittata; lunch revolves around Greek salads and innovative sand-
wiches. Dinner gets downright meaty with tasty flame-grilled filet mignon.
