) This welcoming property feels like summer camp - in a good way. The hotel is older
than its neighbors and the style is far from posh, but it has its own special charms: warm
staff, nightly hula shows, an outdoor tiki bar, tidy grounds framed by palm trees, and an
enviable location on a gorgeous stretch of beach. Family-friendly activities, from lei-
making to ukulele singalongs, assure that the na keiki will never be bored.
For churchgoers, there's a non-denominational outdoor service on Sundays. On your
last day, bring a camera and a hankie to your farewell lei ceremony. Parking and wi-fi are
each $10 per day.

fairways? The in-room warning sign says it all: ʻBeware of flying golf balls in the lanai
areas.' Units are not on the beach, but the complex isn't far from the ocean and the resort
shuttle stops out front.
The best rooms are the large studios which have kitchens set apart from the bedroom
area. All units have washers and dryers. Parking is $8 per day.
