Pali Ke Kua (Hideaways) Beach BEACH
MAP GOOGLE MAP
( ) Pali Ke Kua Beach (Hideaways) is a cove notched in the cliffs with 20m of pale
golden sand and idyllic turquoise shallows. It's an ideal snorkel and swim spot (when it's
calm) with a teeming reef just steps off the beach. But be wise and don't get caught out
when the tide comes in.
Park at the lot after the St Regis ( Click here ) gatehouse, where a path between two
fences followed by a steep railing- and rope-assisted scramble leads you to Pali Ke Kua.
A path to the left of the gatehouse leads you to Puʻu Poa Beach MAP GOOGLE MAP
which, although public, sits below and adjacent to the St Regis Princeville and serves as
its on-campus beach.
Honu Cove BEACH
MAP GOOGLE MAP
A secret cove beloved by locals and best accessed on calm days only, you'll find it at the
end of Kamehameha Rd. Simply take the next right past the Westin, follow it all the way
to the end and keep left. At the end of the road you'll see a trail that hugs the cliffs.
At the bottom, stay left along the cliffs and you'll find a beach with good snorkeling
and lots of turtles. But it has to be a flat day and is best at high tide.
