Chapter 14
Future of iA and iA 2
14.1 introduction
Douglas N. Dickson in Using Logical Techniques for Making Better Decisions states:
“1) Few people can intuitively forecast the future even in the short term without
building biases of the present; 2) Without a rigid structure to force human beings
into more logical frames of mind, they will continue to believe that what exists
now will exist in the future.” So, how does one think about the future in a credible,
disciplined manner that avoids overtones of divination, fortune telling, supersti-
tion, or just plain blind luck? A framework of course! In this case, a future vision
framework (FVF).
