JIABONG CAVE

Spelunking in the extensive underground network around Catbalogan is an adventure not to
be missed. The recently discovered Jiabong cave comprises four caves that feature a stag-
gering variation of underground scenery, from river systems, waterfalls, sandy beaches,
natural swimming pools and mud baths to majestic white calcium sulphate stalactites.
KAWASAN FALLS
Waterfalls
Located 20km south of Moalboal, the Kawasan Falls are actually a series of three water-
falls amid scenic forest; the largest cascades from 20m. A highlight of any visit here is a
dip in the refreshing swimming holes. Adventurous souls can scramble to more secluded
spots, or arrange canyoning trips in Panagsama.
