Surfing
Sleepy Calicoan Island is a famous surfing destination. The best waves are at ABCD
Beach, named after the four reef breaks along this coast. It has great left- and right-hand
reef breaks between May and October, but is not suited for beginners.
BORACAY
Windsurfing & Kitesurfing
Boracay isn't all parties and picture-perfect beaches. The
amihan
(northeast monsoon)
kicks up stiff breezes on Boracay from December to March, delighting sailors and turning
this resort island into a kitesurfing and windsurfing paradise.
