Setting Places Tags
Photos can also be tagged based on the location or place that the photo was taken. Many
mobile devices today automatically attach location tags to photos based on the device's
GPS feature. These tags are attached in the metadata for the photo. The Places view dis-
plays photos based on the location tag. Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 also lets you add
location tags to photo(s). You can tag by country, state, city, and street address, which lets
you find your photos based on where the photos were taken.
Attach Multiple Tags to Your Media
Multiple tags can be attached to a photo. For instance you can attach
People tags to a photo as well as a Place tag and/or an Event tag. Tags
help you organize your photos so that you can easily find the photo that
you are looking for in your Catalog.
1. In Organizer, click an Album or Folder.
2. Click the Places view in the Options bar.
3. Click the Add Places button in the taskbar.
