The artistic filters are nested in GIMP's Filters (Image Menu ➤ Filters ➤ Artistic). You can control
various parameters of the filter. For example, when converting an image to a digital oil painting using the
Oilify filter, you can control how detailed it appears. Increasing the mask gives it more of a “painterly” look
(Figure 10-2 ).
