Download previous iBooks purchases
The process for downloading previously purchased books via the iBookstore is the same for the
iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad versions of the iBooks apps. To download iBooks purchases on a Mac
or a PC, follow the preceding steps for previous iTunes purchases, but go to the Topics pane in Step 4.
1. Tap the iBooks icon on your device's Home screen to launch the iBooks app.
2. Tap the Store button at the top of the iBooks screen.
3. Tap the Purchased button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Your previous purchases are now listed (as shown in Figure 2-4) and you can sort them by
tapping the All or Not on This iPad/iPhone/iPod tabs at the top of the screen.

5. To download a previously purchased book, tap the Download button ( ) next to the

book's title.
In iBooks 3, released in October 2012, you can also just switch to the Purchased Books view in
the iBooks library (using the Collections button at the top of the screen) and then tap any book cover
with the iCloud icon in its upper right corner to download it.
