Download previously purchased apps
Apps you've bought but are not on your iOS device can be downloaded through the App Store
app. The iPad version and the iPhone and iPod Touch versions of the App Store differ slightly, so I
cover both methods for downloading previous app purchases. To download previously purchased
apps in iTunes on a Mac or a PC, use the same steps as for music, movies, and TV shows explained
earlier but select Apps in Step 4.
On an iPhone or iPod Touch:
1. Tap the App Store icon on your device's Home screen to launch the App Store app.
2. Tap the Updates button at the bottom of the App Store app's screen.
3. Tap Purchased on the screen that appears.
4. Your previous App Store purchases are listed (see Figure 2-5) with the most recent down-
loads at the top of the list. Tap the Not on This iPhone/iPod tab at the top of the screen to
view apps that aren't currently installed on your device.

5. Tap the Download button ( ) to download an app.
