Adjusting a note's fonts in the iCloud.com Notes app
Change the default notes font
You can set a default font for the Notes app on each of your devices. (You set them separately; the
default font in one does not change the default font another.) On a Mac, choose Format > Font > De-
fault Font and then tap the desired font in the list there. Either way, your choices are Noteworthy,
Helvetica, and Marker Felt. (You can't set the default font for the iCloud.com Notes app.)
Create notes folders
By default, the Notes app creates folders of notes for each note location. On a Mac, the Notes app
creates the On My Mac folder as well as an iCloud folder and a folder for any other services using
Notes, such as Gmail. You can create your own folders in the Notes app on a Mac and access them
from all your iCloud-connected devices:
1. Launch the Notes app.
2. If the folders list (see the left side of Figure 7-17) isn't visible, choose View > Show Folders
List to display it.
3. Right-click or Control+click the folders list.
4. Choose New Folder from the contextual menu that appears.
5. Type a name for your folder in the field that appears.
