Start from the parking lot on CR 618. Cross the road to the
south and you will see the Lost Falls Trailhead clearly marked.
As you enter the woods, there is a sign that points to the Never
Never Land Bike Trail to the right (west) and the Laurel Falls
Trail to the south. Follow the orange blazes of the Laurel Falls
Trail. The path throughout is a combination of dirt and rock bed.
It is wide here, about 4 feet, with plenty of pine trees.

Cross a wide stream. The canopy opens, with some grassy
edging along the sides of the trail. The first signs of past dam-
age from ice storms and tornados will be seen, with many
downed trees, but the path is clear.

The trail is a large flat rock bed. Come to a Y. The right fork
(south) is the blue-blazed Lost Falls Trail, which will be used for
the return trip. Take the left fork (southeast) and continue on the
orange-blazed Laurel Falls Trail.

Come to a Y. A small carved sign on the ground marks the
short trail that leads to Lost Falls. The Laurel Falls Trail splits
here to the left (east) and right (south). Take a right and hike
down to Lost Falls. Be careful on the bluffs around the falls!
They are slippery and can be dangerous. When done, turn
around and head back to the Y. At the Y turn right (east) to con-
tinue on the main orange-blazed trail.
0.5
Cross a wide stream. There's a nice cascade here.

The orange/silver-blazed Campground Trail comes in from the
left (north). Continue straight, following the orange blazes. The
trail bed starts turning more rocky.

Another carved stone on the ground marks the short side trail
to Laurel Falls. Turn right here onto the unmarked trail to visit
