In-Depth Information
Start from the trailhead near cabins 1-4 just off Bunker Loop to
the north, then to the southwest. The trail immediately heads
steeply downhill.
0.0
Cross a rocky seasonal streambed. The path is thick with
mountain laurel bushes and plenty of reindeer moss. In the
winter when the leaves are down, shortly after this you begin
seeing views of the surrounding mountains to the right (northw-
est).
0.1
Come to a Y. Take the left fork to the southwest.
0.2
The trail becomes very rocky as you walk over and around
small outcroppings. In 250 feet arrive at Pulpit Rock. Explore
the high bluffs and enjoy the view, but be careful! It is extremely
dangerous. When finished, turn around and head back to the
trailhead.
0.3
Arrive back at the trailhead.
