Miles and Directions
Start from the parking lot and head north on the dirt road that
you entered the park on. The road parallels a nice, swift-flowing
stream and Perry Lake. In less than 0.1 mile, cross the covered
bridge over a wide stream to the northeast. The trail then fol-
lows a long boardwalk. At the end of the boardwalk is the
Alabama Red Hickory Champion Tree. There is also a lockbox
to the right for donations for the park's upkeep.
