Adi Stern's wayfinding system at Design Museum Holon, Tel Aviv, Israel.
Overview
The signage and wayfinding system of the Design Museum Holon challenges com-
mon approaches by using white arrows on white walls. The arrows, which are primar-
ily discernible because of the shadow they cast, emerge from the museum walls and
are transformed from two- to three-dimensional forms. The shape of the arrows echo
the flow and movement of the Corten weathering steel bands that surround the mu-
seum building, creating a unity of design throughout the museum.
