The element of choice is very important, as it allows the user to have a personalized
experience. Many of us learn by doing, not by watching or listening. The experience
of interacting means the user will learn and retain the information in a memorable
way.
The case study featured overleaf (pp. 176-77) shows how information can be presen-
ted in an engaging way without being too complicated. UK-based Studio Tonne de-
signed a web interface for users to select, play and download music.
