URL access to reports on the Report Server
Web Services URL is a convenient place to access your reports on the Report
Server. Chapter 10 , Applications Accessing Report Servers , describes a WPF application
accessing the reports using a Web Browser control. In Chapter 8 , Reporting Services
and Programming , we see many examples of URL access.

Accessing the server and running a report
With the following steps, you can access the Report Server and run a report (display it):

1. Open a browser and enter (type in) the URL of the Report Server.

3. In the Windows Azure SQL Reporting Login window, enter the credentials.

4. In the Web server, choose the folder that contains the report you wish to see.

5. Click on the report; you may need to enter credentials again.

6. The report will be displayed.

Do gadgets like indicators and data bars work?
The example report created is rather simple. However, complex reports built
using Report Builder as in Chapter 5 , Working with Report Builder 3.0 , can easily
create reports for Windows Azure SQL Reporting Services as well, as long as
the limitations are duly accepted.
