WEIGHTS AND MEASURES
The international metric system is in official use. However, Imperial and Chinese measure-
ments are still commonly used. Food products are generally sold by the kg, lb or catty
(1.3lbs/600g). Market stalls and stores will give you a tape measure if needed. Clothes and
shoes are in a mix of Asian, European, American and British sizes.
