RealD since their inception, functioned as their independent producer of
3D marketing content. In 2010, he co-founded 3D boutique—The Faktion—
which produces and posts 3D commercials, music videos, and trailers. Brand
clients include—RealD, Scion, American Family Insurance, Red Bull Records,
VUE cinemas, Cinemark, Nintendo and Samsung. The Faktion has produced
groundbreaking 3D music videos for Sean Paul and Awolnation amongst
others. 3D commercial editing credits include spots for American Family
Insurance, Ford and Coca-Cola. Shaw serves as a director of the annual 3D
Film Festival in Los Angeles In November his releases include credits as
additional editor, 2D-3D conversion supervisor, and trailer producer on the
3D Large Format offering from MacGillivary-Freeman Journey to The South
Pacii c —and—as editor on National Geographic latest 3D Large Format i lm,
Mysteries of The Unseen World.
Vince Toto
Vince Toto has a 25-year comprehensive career in the i lm business as a
Cinematographer, Producer, Stereographer, Stereo Supervisor and Educator.
He works as a cinematographer, visual effects cinematographer, stereographer,
stereo supervisor, postproduction supervisor, producer and educator. Earlier
in his career Vince shot numerous music videos and concerts for acts such as
Snoop Dogg, the Offspring, the Ramones and Parliament Funkadelic to name
just a few. He shot television commercials for DHL, Budweiser, and Artic
Cat snowmobiles. Vince has also lensed several feature i lms for Lionsgate.
As his career progressed Vince began shooting large format projects such
as Funk Blast a museum i lm installation for the Experience Music Project
in Seattle, large format ride i lms; such as Aerosmith's Rockin' Rollercoaster
for Disney Studios. His work on several early 3D projects including Disney's
Tough To Be A Bug and Terminator 2 3D , allowed him the experience to move
successfully into the Stereographer/Stereo Supervisor role in feature i lms. He
has been Stereographer and Stereo Supervisor on several projects including;
Torrente 4 the highly successful i rst 3D i lm released in Spain, breaking all
previous box ofi ce records to become the top selling i lm in Spanish history,
the recently released multimillion dollar i lm Dredd 3D , lensed by academy
award winning cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle. Currently Vince is in
postproduction on the i lm Warning , India's i rst feature i lm in 3D, shot in Fiji.
During his work on Box Ofi ce 3D Italy's i rst feature length 3D i lm, Vince
teamed up with Italian producer, Andrea Biscaro. Their work relationship
led to the formation of 4D Stereo Solutions a 3D production company, in
Rome, Italy. In Los Angeles, Vince has also formed 3rd Dimension Editorial,
