6.5.6 Color Workl ow Masters
Color workl ow masters are often among the i nal versions of the show prior
to creating i nal deliverables. Some shows are tasked with optimizing color
for multiple venues and platforms. You may have multiple 3D deliverables
(for example, a digital cinema package and a Blu-Ray master for playback
on television, a YT3D version for YouTube3D as well as 2D deliverables.

6.6 Elements of the COLOR Workl ow

Using the Workl ow-Element model outlined in Chapter 1 , let's examine the
color workl ow in terms of its component Elements ( Figure 6.4)

6.6.1 Teams

The objectives of the color team are to:
• identify color issues
• identify options for resolving color issues
• resolve color issues as quickly and cost-effectively as possible
