2. Call
714-781-7290 the day before you go for the official opening time.
3. Become familiar with the park-opening procedures (described) and read over the
touring plan of your choice so that you will have a basic understanding of what
you are likely to encounter as you enter the park.
DCA ONE-DAY TOURING PLAN FOR ADULTS
FOR Adults without small children.
ASSUMES Willingness to experience all rides and shows.
Height and age requirements apply to many attractions. If you have kids who aren't
eligible to ride, try switching off or use the One-Day Touring Plan for Parents with
Small Children. This touring plan includes most of the amusement park rides on
Paradise Pier. If you're short on time or wish to allocate more of the day to DCA's
theatrical attractions, forgo a few of the rides in a bug's land. Crowds are smaller at
DCA on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday when Disneyland Park has early entry.
ABOUT EARLY ENTRY If you are eligible for early entry, experience Luigi's Flying
Tires and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, in that order, followed by Tower of Terror and/
or Soarin' Over California (time permitting). Get in the exclusive early-entry queue
for Radiator Springs Racers Fastpasses at least 10 minutes before the official park
opening. Pick up the plan with step 5, and return to ride Radiator Springs Racers once
your Fastpass window starts.
DCA normally hosts early entry on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
This may expand to seven days a week, depending on demand. Unlike Disneyland,
DCA's early entry is strictly for hotel guests only; Magic Morning ticket holders may
not enter early. If you are not eligible for early entry, try not to use the plan on an
early-entry day. Cars Land will be packed with early-entry guests before you even get
past the turnstiles.
