downtown Anaheim and positing you in the middle of California wine country.

SUMMARY AND COMMENTS With a revamped menu, the redesigned trattoria is a popular
spot for a Mediterranean-style or California-inspired meal, paired with a glass of wine
from its extensive cellar. Braised lamb shank and sustainable fish with citrus pesto is de-
licious. The Wine Country shrimp and fritto misto qualify as full-blown entrées. And to
finish: Authentic tiramisu with sweetened Italian mascarpone is an exotic treat for adults
among the more kid-friendly sweets that dominate in the rest of the resort. Wine Coun-
try Trattoria appeals more to adults without children, though an improved kids' menu
and World of Color fixed-price dining packages has made this a more attractive option
for families. Note that World of Color lunch and dinner patrons each receive a Preferred
Viewing ticket. Also note that the fixed-price World of Color menu is separate from the
posted à la carte selections. The soup or salad and dessert sampler included in the viewing
package are all excellent, but some of the entrées are disappointing; avoid the filet if you
like your beef rare. For a refreshing late-afternoon break, order a glass of wine and plate
of fritto misto at the patio bar. From a Richfield, Ohio, mom:

Redevelopment of the surrounding real estate has attracted a whole new glut of fine-
dining and fast-casual options. Choices abound from the familiar ( Cheesecake Fact-
ory, Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, Ruth's Chris Steak House ) to local favor-
ites ( Yard House, Umami Burger, The Catch ). Unique dining experiences abound.
While the average Disneyland visitor only stays for two to four nights, there are more
than enough fine-dining and fast-casual venues outside Disneyland Resort to keep
you happy, if not confused, for that amount of time. Good ethnic dining, however,
is woefully underrepresented. Especially hard to find are high-quality Thai, Chinese,
