Because memory modules are keyed to the sockets by a notch on the side or bottom, they
can go in only one way. Figure 19.12 shows how to install a DIMM; you can find more
detailed instructions for installing memory modules in Chapter 6 . Installing the modules
might require some force, but you must ensure that you are installing the correct modules
in the correct orientation, or you might damage the modules or sockets.
