Pushing the boundaries
Now the game looks like a normal runner, but you can still add other game design elements
to make the game more fun and give it more user interaction. For example, you can add
sound effects or particles as we explained in the previous chapters, or add some more
obstacle types, animated ones or animated laser beams. Alternatively, you can add more
collectable types and power ups. Or maybe you can force the level to shuffle between the
blocks and never show them in the same order. Maybe you can add a small missions sys-
tem to force the player to achieve some missions and tasks from his gameplay. There are so
many game design ideas you can use, but game design is a different topic than the target of
this topic.
