Located in a lovely residential area across the Todd River, an easy
10-minute walk from town, this is a small, highly recommended, low-key hostel. The
friendly staff are as accommodating as the variety of room options which include mixed
and female, three-, four- and six-bed dorms, as well as comfortable doubles and twins
built around a central pool.

This YHA is housed in the old Pioneer outdoor cinema and guests can still enjoy
nightly screenings of movies under the stars. Location is the biggest bonus here but it's
also friendly and well run. The comfortable doubles share bathrooms. There's a good-
sized kitchen and a pleasant outdoor area around a small pool. Discounted weekly rates
are available.

This sprawling resort is the best bargain stay in town. The rooms, doubles or four-bed
dorms, have tiny bathrooms, but otherwise are bright, spotless and comfortable and offer
two free movie channels. The management is enthusiastic and eager to please, there's a
great bar and multicuisine restaurant and the big pool sits at the foot of the Ranges.
