tours aboard the Alice Explorer ($44), which continually loops around town stopping at
the major sights. Also runs day tours into the West MacDonnell Ranges as far as Glen
Helen Gorge, including morning tea and lunch (adult/child $117/72), and a half-day trip
to Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasm ($68/42). The office is opposite the visitor inform-
ation centre.
Dreamtime Tours INDIGENOUS

Runs the three-hour Dreamtime & Bushtucker Tour, where you meet Warlpiri Aboriginal
people and learn a little about their traditions. As it caters for large bus groups it can be
impersonal, but you can tag along with your own vehicle.

3pm) Local historian, author and teacher Linda Wells leads two-hour walks around town
with insights into Alice's indigenous and pioneering history.
L'Astragale TOWN

walking tour of Alice Springs (or customise tour to your interests) which leaves from the
visitor information centre.
Rainbow Valley Cultural Tours INDIGENOUS

50) Tour beautiful Rainbow Valley with a traditional owner and visit rock-art sites not
open to the general public. Sunset self-drive tours can include overnight camping and
dinner for an extra $30/20.
RT Tours FOOD

runs a popular lunch and dinner tour at Simpsons Gap and the Telegraph Reserve where
