Cycling & Mountain Bike Riding
Bikes are the perfect way to get around Alice Springs. There are cycle paths along the
Todd River to the Telegraph Station, west to the Alice Springs Desert Park and further
out to Simpsons Gap. For a map of cycling and walking paths pick up a copy of Active in
Alice from the visitor information centre.
With its arid rangeland terrain and networks of single tracks, Alice Springs is getting a
name for mountain bike riding, with the annual five-day MTB Enduro race a calendar
highlight. Trails are easily accessed from town or meet up for a social sunset ride (
