If either the bride or groom is divorced or widowed, they must
show the final divorce decree or the death certificate for their
former spouse in order to get a Declaration of Marital Status.
It takes four business days to get the marriage license.
The marriage license costs $150.
No blood tests are required.
The location of the ceremony must have government approval
in advance.
Non-resident witnesses must apply for temporary residency.
Wedding coordinators on the island can arrange for locals to act
as official witnesses.
Currently, only Christian churches exist on the island, but an Islamic
mosque is being built. A wedding consultant (see suggestions below) can
arrange for a church wedding, or you can contact one of the following for

Kralendijk, then celebrate with friends and family at a reception in one of
