Look for lounge chairs and tables scattered around the sand on the beach
between the Marriott Ocean Club and the Holiday Inn. This is MoomBa -
part-restaurant, part-bar, all fun. You can spend the day and most of the
night here playing pool, surfing the Internet, paddling a kayak along the
shore, drinking icy beer and eating all your favorite foods. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner are served seaside or in the shady palapa. Happy hour is
5-7 pm, with fruity frozen drinks the specialty. The menu is described as
“Caribbean Chic,” which means fun food, such as fajitas, pasta, and grilled
meats. Once a month, MoomBa throws a full-moon party that draws a
large crowd of locals and visitors who revel late into the night.

No explanations needed. This northern Italian restaurant is just what you
would expect. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent service. Outstanding cuisine.
The menu leans heavily toward the popular recipes of Florence: antipasti
starters; meats cooked with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes, served
with pesto-spiked vegetables; and Amaretto-laced gelato for dessert. A
piano plays in the background to add a bit of grace to the rustic-touch
setting.
