SAP Profiles
SAP Start Profile
The SAP start profile executes commands that start the main services, such as message serv-
er and dispatcher, and uses the keyword local. The following sample code of a Start profile
shows the sequence of steps and executions of different commands at the start of the SAP
system for SID BD1 on hostname venus. Usually, the start profile is set up once at the time
of install and is not edited.
